You know that many runners enter a race, and only one of them wins the prize. So run to win!
Dancin In The Fire

Dancin in the Fire…

Her dad, Aldebaran, is an Eclipse Award winning sprinter/miler with an Equibase/Timeform number of 126. He was in the money in 23 of 25 starts-including 10 Grade 1’s- and earned $1, 739,186. Note the combination of world class speed with durability.

His dad was Mr. Prospector- an epochal sire of sires .

His mom was also a Champion and multiple grade one producer and from the family of his fourth dam Broodmare of the Year Best in Show. Best in Show is the ancestress of eight stallions that have produced group/grade 1 winners. She is also the grand dam of Better Than Honor who established a world-record price for a broodmare or broodmare prospect sold at public auction of $14 million.

Her mom, Merit Wings, is a multiple stakes winner with an Equibase Rating of 98. She ran until she was 5 years old and was in the money in 7 out of 11 races winning 4 of them and earning $163,809. Her female family descends from Darby Dan Farm’s Foundation Mare Golden Trail. Her sire was Roberto’s son Silver Hawk providing the prolific nick between the Golden Trail family and Roberto and his sons. She has had 2 yearlings sold at public auction and they averaged $190,000. Her A.P. Indy colt brought $250,000 at the Saratoga Select Sale. She has two 2 year olds that have sold for an average of $87,500. Aliyah, the 2007 foal, was the sales topper on the opening day of the 2009 OBSC June sale. She was co-fastest at the under tack sale getting an eighth in :10 1/5.

Because her sire and dam are both outcrosses this athletic filly is only 4S X 5D to iron horse Nashua and 5S x 4D to Northern Dancer. She has a Dosage Profile of 9 3 17 3 0 and a Dosage Index of 1.78. The Center of Distribution is +0.56. Note the relatively large number of “Classic” points and “Solid” stamina points. She has a Werk Nick Rating of “B” based on the Mr. Prospector-Silver Hawk cross. There are 10 stakes winners bred from this cross including Afleet Alex.

Dancin in the Fire is kind, bold/fearless, and unflappable. She has never once laid her ears back over anything and is fond of kisses. However you don’t want to start a fight with her because there’s not an ounce of quit in her. One vet told us (twice) that “You don’t want to sell her. You want to keep her. She’s gona be a RACEHORSE.” Nominated for Breeders Cup and KTDF.

What would you expect of this classy KY bred filly? What can you dream? Price is negotiable; may consider an ownership percentage in return for training if it is in the best interest of the filly.
